When a new kid arrives on the block, we all look carefully, waiting to see if this kid is going to fit in with us or if we want to fit in with him. In the River North Arts District of Denver this occurs all too often. RiNo is a tight-knit community with an aesthetic of graffiti walls and cool breweries – as you say, “warehouse chic.” And they have a new kid on the block – The Ramble Hotel – and it’s turning heads both near and far.

The Ramble Hotel is a 50-room boutique hotel with an upscale style and masculine décor. While it is first and foremost a hotel, this brick property has been designed to welcome the community whether it’s drinks at Death & Co., their large bar which hails from NYC, or through live music in their event spaces. Their lobby is styled like a 17^th-century salon, so that guests can mill, drink, talk, and laugh in a space with plush chairs and couches, large windows that look out to the street, and under the watchful eye of glass chandeliers.

Throughout the morning and day, guests can grab coffee, juices, and sandwiches from DC/AM, a small café in the lobby. In the afternoon, locals and guests alike can relax with cocktails in hand from Death & Co. before heading to Super Mega Bien, the hotel’s Pan-Latin restaurant. This quirky restaurant will feature food and cocktails served “dim sum-style,” on roaming carts for you to grab.

Upstairs, the 50 rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The navy walls, complete with interesting artwork in metallic-colored frames, complements the white beds and the high-appointed windows that look out onto a main drag of RiNo. Some rooms like the Juliette King have sliding doors that look over a courtyard – a perfect place for people watching.

The details of the rooms are enough to make for a great stay. There’s a curated bar by Death & Co., French press coffee to help you recover from nights out in RiNo, and a flat-screen TV that lets guests stream easily from their phone.

While it’s not the largest hotel that Denver has, The Ramble Hotel is sure to make a name for itself as the first and only hotel in RiNo, one of the city’s most happening neighborhoods. He may be the new kid on the block, but from what we’ve seen, we can’t wait to hang with him.
