A mixture of skate and culinary culture has taken over Fairfax, making it one of the coolest streets in Los Angeles. On the frontline of this revolution, nestled in the middle of this urban explosion, is Cofax Coffee. Look for the Dodger blue that coats Cofax all the way down to the fine lines around the porcelain tile found inside.

But let’s focus on the secret weapon that keeps Cofax so untouchable: the most delicious breakfast burrito in the city.

Entering this small space, you’ll find a collection of Dodgers bobbleheads adorning the shelves next to custom-made Cofax hats that make for a unique pick-up. The Iced Horchata Latte will have your own head bobbling over the flavor while keeping you cool in the Cali sun.

Also available is Ruby Coffee Roasters via drip, and if you’re looking to cool down, Stumptown Cold Brew is on draft. But let’s focus on the secret weapon that keeps Cofax so untouchable: the most delicious breakfast burrito in the city. Stuffed with cheesy eggs and chorizo, it’s a life-changing experience when paired with the salsa verde that they toss in the bag (this stuff could be sold in back alleys).

More interested in sweet than savory? There are house-made donuts and pastries of all kinds. Being named after the great Sandy Cofax, the shop clearly honors American’s favorite pastime, and it’s just as easy to pass the time inside of it.
